It Sucks being the bad guy!

I got up this morning and took Harrison for his 12 month well check, that ended up taking 2 hours because we have a great doctor and so many people love him that nothing ever goes down quickly at his office! So Harrison got shots today! (4 of them, awesome #1) And as it turns out, during all of the screaming I happened to have a very good view of the 3 molars he has apparently been working on?! Yep, had NO idea that was what was causing all the attitude! I honestly thought it was just the 3 teeth in the front that have been coming in too!
Took Harrison home for lunch and a nap and then it was off to the dentist, (Dr. Wall at Kidz Dental Works on 2000 West was awesome!) to have Jackson sedated and repaired!

I did ok until I had to actually hold him while he drifted off to never never land, that was something I hope to never do again! He was screaming one moment and drooling the next! It was all I could do not to cry, but it was so weird to see him like that! (awesome #2), and then I waited! The repairing was done fast, it was the waking up that took forever! 3 hours later, we finally got to go home! (Thanks so much Lynette for loving Harrison for me!)

Jackson was crazy loopy for awhile and it was like 4 or 5 hours before he could walk straight (that actually was awesome, he was cracking me up), but he is totally himself again! And very proud of his new tooth! He is still trying to figure out what happened! lol! Harrison is still mad at me, and moody, but at least now I know why! And I am exhausted! So I am going to bed, but here are some pictures of Jackson! (They are 'after' shots! Yes I took my camera, it only seemed fair that Patrick should at least have to see what it was actually like!)
He was sleepin it off! Bless his heart, that was the longest I have ever seen him hold still!
So sad, his poor little mouth! (Sorry about the creepy eyes!)
Recovering at home and trying to force feeling back into his lip!
So proud of that tooth! He won't stop licking it! lol!

I felt the same way the first time Matthew was sedated. This horrible glazed look came over his face when the medicine kicked in and his eyes were wild and scared. I told Matt I would never, ever do that again. When I left with him I thought it would be a good time to buy some garments and put Matthew in the umbrella stroller. While looking for sizes I heard a thump. He had gotten up enough energy to knock himself out of the stroller flat on his face. Being the awesome mom that I am I loved him better, stuck him back in the stroller and continued on my way when I heard a thump again. You would think after the first time I would have buckled him, but NOOOOOOOOO! Anyways, Matthew has been sedated once more and Zack twice and all those times they take them back and do it without me there and I am grateful. I works so much better for the kids too, cause they don't even remember a thing!

I am glad that all went well and that Jackson has a pretty new tooth. Poor Harrison! I hate the whole teething thing! I love you new picture header!
