This beautiful girl is 4! Some fun facts about her this year:
-She has now been walking for a year! Woowho!
-She is talking so much, she likes to have conversations with her imaginary friends, she "reads" books aloud, she even says prayers. :)
-She can identify and sign her 6 basic colors and she is learning to identify her shapes.
-She has 3 therapists, (PT, OT-Feeding, Speech) that we see weekly. She also has 3 therapists (PT, OT, Speech) at school, that she sees once a week. She's a busy girl and a really hard worker!
-She has to have the ceiling fan on, her musical bear, her pink blanket, 3 books and Backyardigans playing on her TV on repeat in order to take a nap.
-She LOVES her big brothers! Jackson is the one who watches out for her and lets her love on him. Harrison is the one who will play with her or read to her for hours. They are her best friends!
-She might love her little brother someday. Grant is not her favorite person, especially since he became mobile. She likes to knock him down, sit on him, make him cry any chance she gets... And when she gets caught sitting on him and making him scream she cleverly begins to pet his face and say "Nice". So... it's safe to say she totally knows better.
-She has to eat yogert every single day.
-She is a SUNBEAM is Primary! Whaaat?!
It's been a big year! She is changing and learning and growing like crazy! And she continues to be the giggles and sunshine in our home! It was a tough year for her too, filled with a lot of new skills and trying to put them all to use, frustration has been common place. And she has been in a lot of pain and had some chronic infection in her feet. But she is Reagan, and nothing seems to slow her down. Resilient, smart, tough, determined, hilarious, beautiful, crazy, hooligan! We are so blessed to have her!
We celebrated her birthday on January 12th, with our local "family" and Grandma and Papa. :) Her party theme was centered around one of her favorite things, ice cream! Lots and lots of ice cream! :)
Presents! She was spoiled by all and had tons of fun opening them!
The next day, Grandma found one more present she'd forgotten about. So she got to have a private opening, before they had to leave. (It just so happened that this one was her favorite! That monkey makes her laugh so hard!)
And then there was her actual birthday. :) January 15th.
She finally got a cake. (Because at her party, her dad declared it wasn't a real birthday without one... mostly because he really wanted one. haha. Although, just for the record, she ate a LOT more ice cream than cake.) ;)
We LOVE this girl!!
Happy Birthday Miss!!
September 18th:
Harrison turned 6! (Although someone should tell his body, because he's almost as big as his 8 yr old brother!) Man, this kid is the sweetest! The funniest, cutest, sweetest, most chill middle child on the planet! We are so proud of him and all of the new things he has been doing! He is excelling in school. Always such a great helper at home. A wonderful big (and little) brother! What a GREAT kid! We are so blessed to have him! :)
He made out like a bandit!
The RC Helicopter! He has wanted one of these for SO long! :)
And that's a record folks... 3 bikes in a year and a half. (Each bike was a size bigger. He really is growing that fast!) I like that these pictures really illustrate our outstanding parenting about safety! hahaha. It was just a test drive, don't judge! ;)
He didn't even complain when we had to leave right after dinner to spend the rest of the evening at Jackson's basketball practice... which meant he had to wait an extra day for his cake! He told me on the way home that he actually wanted to wait to have cake so that Dad could be there too! Love this kid!!
For his party he wanted to go see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs: 2" at the theater with some friends. :) These were the best behaved kiddos ever! They were so cute and had a blast!
All ready to go! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARRISON BUDDY!!
Patrick seems to always have to work on his birthday. But this year, I was really lucky he did! Because after searching and searching online for the gift I wanted to get him, I epically failed to do find it in time! SO, it meant 4 kiddos and I would be making a trip to the mall! (That's true love right there!) ;) And it ended up being totally worth the sweat and tears! ;)
August 1st:
He is always so grateful for anything we get him! But sometimes I wish I could really spoil him the way I want to. Someday. :) We got him new flip flops, a leather cuff and a fancy new briefcase. He was happy! (Shocker!)
And the kids helped me make his favorite cake, strawberry cream. Mmmm. It is so good!
That is Reagan's version of begging! She was signing "more" from the moment we started singing. hahaha. She is definitely her dad's girl!
Love this man with all my heart!! I can't believe I've gotten to have him for a whole decade already! :) He makes life so much fun... he is the funniest person I know! He works SO hard... harder than I ever could! He makes me feel special and beautiful... even when I'm irrational and crazy and just had a baby! ;) And it all only makes me love him more! I can't believe I was lucky enough to trap him! ;) And I'm grateful for him everyday! Forever and Ever!
Happy Born Day Patrick!
One week after Grant was born, May 17th, Jackson Edward Swain hit the BIG 8! :) He has been SO excited for this birthday! It is a big one, he became a Cub Scout, got his "initiation into manhood" by receiving his first BB gun, and best of all... he chose to be baptized! What an amazing young man he is becoming! He is so good to his sibling, loves to help and play! He is really becoming a boy who serves and is a gentlemen and is polite. We really couldn't be prouder of him!
He wanted Legos for his birthday, and that is all what he got! ;)
Except for this...
Apparently this is some kind of "right of passage" I was unaware of. It must be a boy thing. ;)
He decided on bowling for a party! :) These boys have so much fun together! It was an adventure for Dad, he isn't usually in charge of parties involving other peoples' kids and no moms, but they had a really great time! (And Dad survived, with the help of another very cool dad.)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACKSON!!
The Second Anniversary of my 29th Birthday happened. ;) I would have skipped posting about it at all, because really, it's so not a big deal, right?! But I happened to get to do the coolest thing I've gotten to do in a long time!!! I got to see WICKED!! :D
Patrick got me tickets for Christmas that happen to be for the show on April 6th, the day before my birthday Anniversary. :) (He thought he was really clever killing 2 birds with 1 stone like that!) But it was the best Christmas/Birthday gift!! The show was INCREDIBLE!! I wanted to see it again by the end of the first act! Hahaha. (My handsome date!)
April 7th, my actual birthday was good too! It was General Conference weekend, so on top of getting to listen and be uplifted, I also didn't have to stress about church! ;) It was a relaxing day at home with my cute little family, and at 8 months pregnant, that was my version of the perfect day!!
So here's to another year. I'm feeling a little run down and busted physically right now, so I don't want to talk about how old I feel.... ;) ....But so far my 30's haven't been too shabby. So, all those worry wrinkles I gave myself in my 20's were for nothing. ;)
And don't worry, I know I'm not really still 29! Harrison likes to remind me and anyone he talks to that I am now 31! ;) I should have told him I was 29.... hmmmm, hindsight. Hahaha.
