So, I like to let the boys take baths together. They love it, and flood my bathroom! And it's easier for me, especially being alone at night. But some days it is NOT a fabulous idea, due to wild attitudes and bad moods! Today was
that day! Jackson had been trying to break me all afternoon, and had been especially mean to Harrison after naps (Angie heard some of it on the phone, sorry!), and Harrison had been unusually emotional. So bath time comes
and I decide to just get them in and out and try to not let them kill each other in the process! But after Jackson managed to knock Harrisons head into the faucet twice (causing screaming) I made an executive decision that bath time was over and hurried to wash them both down quickly! Jackson had a brilliant idea to thrash around after I lathered him up (including his face, which is normal...thrashing is not!) and with his eyes closed and going wild, managed to break his tooth on the side of the tub! (Yes, he was freaking out that bad!) So, here is his new smile!

Unfortunately, it's worse in the back than it is in the front, so I will be spending the better part of the morning at the dentist tomorrow! (Thank you Whitney for the help!) He is doing ok, but did break enough off to expose some nerve!
It's a good thing he is a tough kid! He is just so wild sometimes, I don't know if any of you moms out there can relate, but nothing

seems to get through to him! I warned him he was being too rough and was going to get hurt! Obviously he listened! I just hate feeling like I am failing as a mom! He gets hurt a lot because he is so defiant and doesn't listen! You would think he would learn. ...maybe after tomorrow... although the cat scan and concussion didn't sway him either! I just really hope this is a phase, that it has more to do with him being 3 1/2 and not something else ...like his mom!

Don't feel bad. Cooper is just like that. It almost takes him getting hurt to make him pause, for a minute. I too, hope he grows out of it. Good luck.
Poor baby. (I'm not talking so much about Jackson as about his Mom!) I wish I could tell you it's a phase. But, I'm afraid it's just gender. Hang in there, Princess!
Poor guy! Don't even beat yourself up over it! He's all boy & he's three! . You are a wonderful mama! :o)
You are a great mom and from what I can tell it's so not you. . . I think it's a boy thing! Hope all goes well at the dentist.
Just for the record the screaming on the phone made me feel better since it happens at my house ALL the time! Hang in there - just think to the future when you can tell his dates this story! :)
Poor Jackson!!! Hang in thier though!!! Do you know a good dentist. We are looking for one? Sometimes I wonder if Brooklyn is still in the tamper stage and she's almost 5. What am I going to do with her!!! This is when a girls night out will do us all good. ICE CREAM ANYONE!!!
Oh the joys of motherhood!! Don't worry. He's a boy, you are a good mom. Look at it this way, at least you know he will be a tough boy right? :)
