I FINALLY have Internet! YEAH ME! (Ok, it was like a little more than a week! But in this techno world we live in, I'm not used to being so disconnected and 850 miles away from the action! It's a long time, almost enough time to actually receive a letter in the mail, like old-school style! haha! I'm kidding, everyone knows it takes way longer than that to get something in the mail! At least email can't get lost! lol!) And if any of you were wondering, that really is how far it is!
Anyway, I am standing in my kitchen celebrating my link to the world with a lunch of Pepsi (shocking, I know) and Starburst jellybeans, laughing and crying and catching up on everything I am missing! My boys...are sleeping! And Patrick just left for work. Ah, my quiet afternoon time!
We are having fun being a family again! And the boys freak out every time they see their dad! I love it, and I hope that it continues! Contrary to common belief, living with Patrick doesn't actually mean we see him a lot. He works a lot of overtime and he is on a swing shift, but we are VERY grateful for his job and the opportunities it has brought us! Side note: the time we do have, we do spend together, which is nice. I have even managed to get him to watch Twilight with me! No word yet on whether or not he liked it. He just said that he couldn't eat pink jellybeans because he already felt gay enough for the day! lol! So that's not an "I hated it"!
Just for the record, I am liking AZ a whole lot! It's a little bit lonely right now, but the weather totally kicks butt! Everyone keeps saying I will miss the snow, but I would not put money on that! I am all ready to string me some lights up on the nearest cactus (which isn't far) for Christmas! lol! It's in the 80's and 90's already, which is weird. And we don't have any neighbors (I miss you), which is weird too. Ok, we do, but our neighborhood is less that 50% finished so there aren't a lot of them really close! But we have some really nice people on our street. ...It's just really quiet. I'm used to the busy street and people! haha! Oh, and there is a casino down the road! haha! I'm not going to lie, that's a little bit weird too!
I promise to get some pictures up, I just have to locate my camera cord! (That could be easier said than done!) I love our house, and it is starting to feel like a home. Patrick put blinds up a couple of days ago, so the free peep shows for the "neighbors" are over. lol!
Well, you can probably tell I haven't had anyone to talk to for awhile! lol! And lastly...I would like to dedicate this post to Liseanne. For actually believing that my sex life was causing the blogging drought! Ha, silly girl! lol! I love and miss you all!

I HEART my Husband!!
He is the funniest person I know! And I miss him making me laugh with his random crazy stories all of the time!! I LOVE it when he posts something, even if it only makes me miss him more!! ...I LOVE YOU! Forever and Ever!!
...And, wait for it....
We closed on our house today!! They just up and called this morning, no warning, and it's a done deal this afternoon! This is the best birthday present EVER!! (Ok, almost! Actually being together would have been the only thing better!) But I will take it!

It's me again
What up Dawgs? Just got done droppin' lines to friends and family on the email system and thought I'd drop a line here. Word! I've been in AZ now as most of know for a little over a month now. Beautiful weather here. The place I work in is pretty cool too. I can't believe I'm getting paid to hike in the mountains. Running through the mountains sucks hard, but the hiking is cool. The job is pretty cool too. I think I made the right decision by taking the job offer. I'm not gonna lie though, being the new guy blows and having to start all over again is pretty dang gay, but in the end it's worth it. Right now I'm on day shift so the days are pretty slow. Just like my old job. Most of the action happens at night. Oh well.
Most of you know what's going on with the house situation which means I MISS MY FAMILY! even though I am living with my aunt and uncle, I spend most of my weekends alone. They are very busy and I just try to stay out of the way and pretend I'm invisible. Since I've been down here, I have seen two movies in the movie theatre by myself. How gay is that? One was a Vin Diesel movie so that makes me more gay. I saw Fast and Furious last night. The theatre is in the mall down here so last night the mall was packed with a bunch of hood rats and skanks. I even walked right in the middle of a fight in front of Victoria's Secret. I was talking to an old work buddy of mine on the phone and wasn't paying attention to where I was going. Next thing I know, I get pushed in the back and turn around and notice I'm in the middle of a fight circle surrounded by a bunch of raggedy looking teenagers. Without thinking and surely by instinct, I grab the kid who pushed me by his shoulders and throw him into a pajama bottom rack inside Victoria's Secret. A security guard asked me if I was alright and I kept on walking while I talked to Dan on the phone. No big deal, but pretty funny. Note to Jackson and Harrison...if you ever dress and use the language those kids used inside that mall, I will strait up beat your a$$es! I know I have a problem cussing, but I'm like J. Golden Kimball and repent too damn fast. Even though I think I could out act Paul Walker any given day of the week, the movie wasn't bad. I even revved my engine and squealed my tires in my little Maxima as I tore out of the parking lot last night.
All in all...life is good! I came back from the priesthood session tonight and felt good...not guilty like I sometimes do. I hope that means I'm on the right track. Even though my Baby Girl and two little Rugrats are far away, I know they are in good hands and it's just a matter of time. All we can do is hope for the best and just take one day at a time. Allan K. Chalmers once said, "The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for." I have all three.

Pictures...from February!
My camera has been missing since we moved out of the house in Feb. Amazingly enough, Jackson located it somewhere in the room the 3 of us are sleeping in. There wasn't much on it, but my blog is lacking in the photog department!
In case you can't see it, there is an enormous bump on poor Harrison's noggin! He had a pretty unfortunate run-in with the corner of a wall! The pictures don't do it justice, it was the size of a golf ball! (He hits his head on a regular basis, so the other random bruises are normal!)

This is Jackson taking his last nap in our Utah house, in what was left of his room! He was pretty freaked out about his bed being torn apart. But it ended up being kind of like a camp out. I actually love this picture, it's sweet and sad all at the same time. And it's the only one I really have documenting the move.
A Dose of Reality!
Ok, so I have been caught having some serious tunnel vision lately! And to everyone who has had to listen to me complain, I am sorry!!!! The past couple of weeks have been a challenge for me, it's true. But more because up until now I have had it pretty good/easy, rather than because it has become terribly hard/horrible! (Things would have been a lot harder if I had not had my dad! He is heaven sent! I have worn him clear out ...and he still helped me cover my naked roof at 2 am in the snow/rain on a work night!! It was freezing and wet and I was pretty sure one of us was going to die, but he did it anyway! I don't know what I would have done without him! Same goes for my brothers and father-in-law who spent an entire workday removing my roof! And to everyone who has helped me with my boys so that I could actually be of some assistance!) We have been really blessed as a family, I really do know that! I am, however, starting to worry more and more about what I am going to do without all of you!
After we got the new roof on (questionable weather and all), we ran into some hang ups that involved more work for me and dad. It even started to look like the buyer was going to back out. But she didn't, and we were able to fix it over the weekend and everything is now on it's way to closing. We are officially closing next week, for real. End of my downer house stories!!!
Other good news: I got a massage yesterday (thanks Chryshele) and went to the gym for the first time in like 6 years (yeah me!)! I am in a better mood than I have been in for at least a month! And I as it turns out, my kids even like me more without the chronic attitude problem! Oh, and I had my first good nights sleep in over two weeks! (I have a hard time being nice or patient without sleep! Crazy, I know!)
So I have eaten my humble pie and there will be no more complaining! I swear it! We are safe and healthy. Patrick is doing well in his new job, and enjoying it probably more than he should! Lol! And we will hopefully be together again before our anniversary!
...My next post will possess pictures. I found my camera, so that's good news too! :)

Frustrated!!!
WARNING: The following post is completely comprised of venting!
So, we have not closed on our house, in fact we will not even be closing on the original date (the 24th)! As things progressed, this past Monday (the day before we planned to close), the appraiser decided we needed to have our roof certified due a "leak" in the garage. Said leak has yet to be located in our roof. However, due to the fact that the appraiser mentioned it, the certification is still needed. Problem... we can't find a licensed roofer who will certify it for the 5 years that are needed. So.... not only are we paying thousands of dollars to close, we are now providing a brand new roof to replace a perfectly good roof (at least for a few more years) because of a leak that may or may not be there that no one can find!
Meanwhile in AZ, the house we are waiting to buy, will have to keep waiting. And hopefully, that won't be a problem, I actually don't know yet! Which means in a week or so I may have gone from having 2 homes, to having none!!
(Deep Breath!)
I don't think I have ever been under this much stress!! Whatever hair I don't manage to pull out is going to be grey!! I feel like at any moment I am going to either throw up or cry! So I chose to vent.

Quick Update on the Chaos!
I have gotten really bad about keeping this up to date! And I have so many pictures and things I have been meaning to blog about, but they will have to wait just a little bit longer!
Just to keep everyone informed, mostly because I am no longer sure who has been told and who hasn't! (My brain has been on the fritz lately, sorry!)
1- We are closing on our house this week, a week early. Yah!! My dad and I have been diligently trying to finish everything and clean the place out all week!
2- After spending most of Saturday searching and with the help of a great realtor who was very prepared, Patrick managed to find and purchase the most amazing home for us. We will be closing on that one in about 30 days.
3- And at that point in time me and my two little buddies will be officially leaving Utah as our home to join Patrick.
I'm not going to lie, I am sort of screaming inside, and not in a bad way! I am SO excited to be together again, all 4 of us living in the same place! Jackson is especially excited and has been counting the days! It is going to be crazy and weird and sad and exciting and everything else all at once. But I am ready to do it! We are looking forward to this adventure.
But for every part of me that is screaming with joy, there is a knot growing somewhere else! I have not ever known any other place as my home. All of our roots are here, not to mention all of the family and friends we are leaving behind! We have the very BEST family and friends! There just are not words. It's a major understatement, but THANK YOU ALL for your support and help and love! I really don't know what we will do without you!
We have been SO blessed throughout this entire process! Everything has seemed to fall into place just in time and worked out so well. I can't even begin to explain the amazing things that have happened over the last 6 months of our lives. But the fact that our house sold in 3 months, in this market, alone is a miracle! It really has proven to be the right thing for us to do!
Just one more month, and then... we'll be home!!!
