"It's Alive"

I FINALLY have Internet! YEAH ME! (Ok, it was like a little more than a week! But in this techno world we live in, I'm not used to being so disconnected and 850 miles away from the action! It's a long time, almost enough time to actually receive a letter in the mail, like old-school style! haha! I'm kidding, everyone knows it takes way longer than that to get something in the mail! At least email can't get lost! lol!) And if any of you were wondering, that really is how far it is!

Anyway, I am standing in my kitchen celebrating my link to the world with a lunch of Pepsi (shocking, I know) and Starburst jellybeans, laughing and crying and catching up on everything I am missing! My boys...are sleeping! And Patrick just left for work. Ah, my quiet afternoon time!

We are having fun being a family again! And the boys freak out every time they see their dad! I love it, and I hope that it continues! Contrary to common belief, living with Patrick doesn't actually mean we see him a lot. He works a lot of overtime and he is on a swing shift, but we are VERY grateful for his job and the opportunities it has brought us! Side note: the time we do have, we do spend together, which is nice. I have even managed to get him to watch Twilight with me! No word yet on whether or not he liked it. He just said that he couldn't eat pink jellybeans because he already felt gay enough for the day! lol! So that's not an "I hated it"!

Just for the record, I am liking AZ a whole lot! It's a little bit lonely right now, but the weather totally kicks butt! Everyone keeps saying I will miss the snow, but I would not put money on that! I am all ready to string me some lights up on the nearest cactus (which isn't far) for Christmas! lol! It's in the 80's and 90's already, which is weird. And we don't have any neighbors (I miss you), which is weird too. Ok, we do, but our neighborhood is less that 50% finished so there aren't a lot of them really close! But we have some really nice people on our street. ...It's just really quiet. I'm used to the busy street and people! haha! Oh, and there is a casino down the road! haha! I'm not going to lie, that's a little bit weird too!

I promise to get some pictures up, I just have to locate my camera cord! (That could be easier said than done!) I love our house, and it is starting to feel like a home. Patrick put blinds up a couple of days ago, so the free peep shows for the "neighbors" are over. lol!

Well, you can probably tell I haven't had anyone to talk to for awhile! lol! And lastly...I would like to dedicate this post to Liseanne. For actually believing that my sex life was causing the blogging drought! Ha, silly girl! lol! I love and miss you all!

I'm so glad to hear that you are alive and well. Being a family again is probably the best mother's day present, eh? I'm glad to hear you're getting settled, just watch out for the cockroaches, scorpions and silverfish (its a bug not a fish) they are all nasty and will try to take up residence in your home very soon. Call a good bug sprayer and book them monthly, you won't regret it. (we did not, and it was gross!) Now that your, uhmm, night life is getting some action you better keep up on the blogging!

You are hillarious!! I will have to tell Rob about the pink jellybeans he would agree!! At least they are willing to watch it with us!! Good luck on being so far away!! Don't worry it always gets better around 2years of living there. Trust me it happen to me as well!! The day we moved back I was crying cause I didn't want to move back because I loved where I was at. I know it is hard to believe now but it will happen. Don't mess around with the bugs either, scorpions not so fun!!

Hey Jenni, you know that the sex was great though!!:) Tell Patrick that Adam liked Twilight and he asked me questions for 2 hours about the other books, and what will happen next.
We do miss you and I am so jealous of the weather. I wish it was in the 80's here!!
Noah, Kayden, and Cordell we playing Rock Band the other day and singing "White Wedding", but instead were saying "hey little patrick" like Adam sang. It made me laugh and then they almost started to cry and said that they missed you. It was so SWEET!!!
