HaPPy HaLLoWeeN!

Our Halloween was on Friday.   It started at school for Jackson.  They got to wear their costumes and then parade around to the other schools and trick-or-treat.  I got to go with him.  :)  Here he is in line... completely surrounded by girls!  haha.
And with his cute class!  There are a bazillion kindergartners at his school (10 classes) and we only saw one other Harry Potter!  I'm a little bias, but he was definitely the cutest!  :)
And then Friday night we had our ward Fall Festival/Trunk-or-Treat.  It was a HUGE party with booths and games and hot dogs and a jumping castle and... I got exactly 0 pictures.  Which is probably ok... I made it home with all 3 kids... They had A BLAST!...  And got lots of treats... So we'll call it a success!  :)  I did take some cute pics of them before we left (which was lucky)!  (They chose to pose with the pumpkin!  haha.)
Jackson - AKA Harry Potter
Harrison - AKA Bumblebee Transformer
Reagan - AKA The Cutest Stinkin Skeleton on the Planet
The 3 cutest kids in the whole wide world!
...This one because it made me laugh!  :)
...And this one because it melts my heart!  Awwww!
I LOVE these kids!  :)  HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Carving Mania!

The Pumpkin Carving!  Mom got to gut them while all the boys went for a 4-wheeler ride... but lets be honest... there isn't a male in my house that could have done it without gagging!  haha.  The boys actually helped with the carving this year and they were super excited to do it!  :)
Jackson carving all by himself!
Harrison helping Dad.
They were very proud of their work!  (Harrison has become my face-puller!) :)
"That's totally Awesome!" - They loved the candles!
Good job boys!  :)

Carnival #2

At Jackson's school last night.  They got to wear their costumes... so here is their costume reveal (minus Reagan, she didn't have hers on)...
Harrison - Transformer Bumblebee & Jackson - Harry Potter.
And there were lots of games to play for prizes.  This was a little girl from Jackson's class.  Their teacher was working the ring toss booth, they were posing for a picture... with Harrison in the background... haha.
They both had incredible form!  :)
Just call this kid Bulls-eye!  He did amazing!
"I'll put a spell on you!" - He really did walk around saying that to people!
 Hello Pretty Girl!  :)
And Dad was there too!  :)
We still have our Halloween Spectacular (at home), the costume parade (at school) and carnival #3 and a truck or treat (at the church)!  I wasn't kidding, Halloween is going to last the whole week!  :)

Pumpkins!

Our week of Halloween has begun!  On Saturday we went to our community carnival.  The boys had a blast, there is always lots to do... and it's free... which makes it the best form of family activity!  :)  There were bouncy things... Jackson LOVES these.
This was as far as Harrison got... I had to climb up and save him!  :)  Saving him was not what he had thought it would be, he still had to come down... he just got to do it with me!  haha.
The pumpkin patch.  We left with 3... although they collected a pile.
And a train ride!  I convinced them the train was WAY cooler than the ponies, because ponies only go in a circle (...and the line was an hour long!) ...mom is always right!  They love the train!
Let the carving begin!

9 Months...

A little update on Miss Reagan... who is already more than three quarters of the way through her first year of life!  Yeah!  :)  She is now 28" long and weighing in at 18 lbs.  She is currently meeting with a developmental specialist once a week and has been doing great.  She improves all the time and is slowly but gradually figuring out what all of those cute chubby appendages are for!  She is sitting, pushing up, and has just started attempting to scoot.  She is even holding her own bottle.  She is more and more vocal the older she gets, which is very good.  And she is getting better and better at playing with, pulling on and pounding things.  :)  She also likes to crack herself up... it's pretty freaking hilarious!  haha.  She continues to be a very happy little girl.  And who wouldn't be, let's be honest, this kid gets a lot of attention!  Her brothers are still her main source of entertainment, but her dad is a soft spot for sure!  (She saves all of her hugs and kisses for him!  I'm a little jealous, but it's incredibly sweet, so I let it slide!)  ;) She is getting so big and changing so fast!
He really is asleep... snoring even... it's a good thing she isn't much of a roller!  haha.
 Doing her push-ups.
This one made me laugh because she kept closing her eyes, I have 6 pictures of her smiling and blinking!  :)
Her favorite thing in the WHOLE world!  ...She is a thrill seeker... and she is literally squealing with delight!

The Road That Goes Nowhere!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... I LOVE our dead end!  And I LOVE that it's ALL OURS!  :)  We have been riding a lot of bikes lately, mostly on our little piece of road (Harrison has just recently conquered peddling).  And because it doesn't go anywhere... it was getting a little dangerous with 2 crazy drivers not paying any attention to where the other one was.  SO... we got out the chalk and our little dead end... became a city.  We drew a yellow dotted line for driving on (their road) it went in a crazy loop.  There was a gas station for fueling up - bikes and boys - and a store for tires are repairs.  I was dubbed the gas station attendant... the store was self-serve.  haha.  It was days of entertainment!  :)
Fueling up!  (Harrison had a helmet on, but the little stinker tricked me into taking it off and then hid it in the garage and got back on his bike!)

They got really good at following the line and Jackson even mastered safe passing!  (Harrison can go pretty fast, those little feet were moving, but it's a tricycle... you go too fast and you can't keep your feet on the peddles.) haha.  I thought they would get bored of doing it... but not even a little.  Unfortunately, the rain washed it away after a few days... but I have been petitioned to make a new one.  So it looks like we've found a fun new use for our private street. :)

Finally Feels Like... Not Summer

Yep... It's finally not in the 100's anymore... or the 90's.  Alleluia!  Fall is AZ is to die for!  I truly love it!  :)  We have been enjoying the nice weather as often as possible.  Jackson had a week of no school - Fall Break - so we tried to do something fun each day.  Most of the time it was just something simple or easy like playing with friends or going to the park.  But we did make it to the Zoo.  We have to document it, it was Reagan's first time and... she mostly hated it... but still!  :)
Jackson with his map and a new friend... the turtle was following him.
The zebra was checking Patrick out...
Close-up with the lion.
Hey, she smiled while we were there?  I must have missed this moment, but I'm glad Dad didn't.
I've always wanted my picture taken with a giraffe... not really, Patrick made me stand there.  haha.
Even with whiny kids and short on time... I love family outings!  We don't get much time together these days with all 5 of us!  So I will take it where I can get it!  :)
