We had a very nice, and quiet, turkey day! It was just the 5 of us. We even braved our first turkey cooking experience! (Actually, Patrick did, and it ROCKED! It was gorgeous and delicious!)
We planned ahead and made a special trip to Sam's Club... for crab cakes, bacon wrapped shrimp and a red velvet cheesecake (Cheesecake Factory!). Yes, we are crazy people! But it was totally worth the trip! haha. The Feast!
Dinner was SO good and pretty much normal... Harrison stuffed his face while Jackson pretended he was eating ;) ...and in the end there was a lot of food left over! (No complaints there!) When we asked the boys what they were thankful for Harrison said "Swings. Swings and trampoline." and Jackson said "My bike and my transformers...." and the list went on from there. He was thankful for everything. haha. The more thankful Jackson was the more Harrison's list grew too, they are funny! Love this pic!
And Reagan was there too... it's a lot of work being this stinking cute!
She even got a special hair-do! :)
Of course there was napping... (and an awesomely unflattering picture of my butt! Yikes! But it's the only pic I'm in so... ) the girls...
The boys.... well, 2 of them. (A showcase of what Patrick was doing with his time while we all crashed to come... other than taking creepy pictures of us sleeping.) But he also cleaned up dinner. :)We even spent some time outside riding bikes. And then that evening we rode the 4 wheeler (yep, all 5 of us) over to our friends house for pie. It was a great day... full of the things I am grateful for most!
Happy Thanksgiving!

It looks like a beautiful Thanksgiving! We did our first turkey this year too! I love, love, love the pic of your boys together and that cute litte Miss Reagan. And can I just add I'm super jealous you were all out riding bikes on THANKSGIVING? Next year, we're coming to you. I'll even cook! :)
That is so funny!!! I just love that he took pics of you all. What a great little blog supportive hubby! I always tell my husband "always be thinking about the blog. When you see something ask yourself if this would be blog-worthy" haha! I love it. Looks like you guys did a fabulous job!!
Mmmm that turkey looks so good! And a cheesecake factory pie to boot! Sounds so yummy. No wonder everyone was taking naps after such a great feast!
