Blog Books

I have been trying to figure out a good way to print and save my blog and I had heard that you could turn it into a book. A friend of mine posted a website for a company that does that very thing, it's http://www.blurb.com/ (Scroll down to the Book Ideas - Blog Books). I am thinking this might be fun to do once or twice a year and the pricing looks reasonable. So just in case any of you are interested, check it out! And happy blogging!

Happy Halloween!

We had a lot of fun this year! We went to our ward party and then both of my brothers had parties too! That's the most we have done as a family for Halloween ever!! I even managed to get Patrick to dress up (kind of) twice. He was Indiana Jones, not a lot of effort went into it, but at least he played along. (Which is a major miracle because he absolutely HATES Halloween!) And he didn't have to work on Halloween for the first time since we've been married! So he got to take the boys trick-or-treating. That's pretty dang near a perfect holiday for us! Dad not working, happy kids and lots of candy!

We also have to send a little shout out to Patrick's mom, Lynette, who is a Halloween baby! Happy Birthday Mom!

...I know it's a little late, but Happy Halloween and may the force be with you! (I had to post the picture because I finally got one of Harrison without his Binky!)

Waiting for the Leaves to Fall!

I love my boys! The leaves on our front tree decided to give up today. (Sorry Patrick, I only raked enough to make a pile for Jackson to destroy.) They were so excited, Jackson had been asking me all day to go out and play in them!
Harrison didn't move around much, I think he was trying to figure it all out. And he would shiver whenever a leaf touched him.
And Jackson was the blurry thing in most of my pictures! Shocking, I know. He actually did some impressive summer-salts in them! I just couldn't get a picture of any of them.

Da-Da, Da-da-da-Da-da, Da-da-da-DA!

Our ward Halloween party was Friday night! Jackson was pretty sure he was the coolest Jedi ever, and had to show off all of his Jedi moves! He had a lot of fun playing with his friends and they got a lot of candy! Harrison was a very cute Jedi too, although we decided against letting him have a light-saber in a crowd! He ate 2 bowls of chili (one of which was mine), ran around for a while, and then ate some more! We had a lot of fun!

Sooooo Tired!

Harrison has never been the best napper, which has been hard for me because Jackson always has been. But he has been SO tired lately. I don't know if he's growing or teething or that he is now all over the place chasing Jackson, but it is catching up to him! This was Friday just before noon, he was getting kind of tired of playing and wanted to sit in daddy's chair. So I turned on cartoons and put him in the chair and not even 5 minutes later, he just fell over! I thought maybe he just wanted to lay down...nope. He was even snoring! I couldn't even get him to wake up for lunch, and if you know him, you know food comes before anything else! It made me laugh so hard! Poor kid, being little is exhausting!

Fall is Here...

We decided Thursday to take the boys over to the Syracuse park to see the leaves (there aren't too many at this particular park), so really it was for the ducks.

Jackson 'feeding' the ducks...rocks! This is probably my fault, I didn't bring any bread!

Jackson had a blast running around and Harrison tried his hardest to keep up! It was funny and cold!

Home for Sale!

Just to let everyone know, the house is officially on the market! We haven't heard back from border patrol yet, but we are expecting to within a week or so. I will let you know as soon as we hear something! For now, I am trying really hard to be brave about all of this because I know that it is right for our family! It has just been harder than I thought it would be! And I know that home is so much more than a house, there are just a lot of memories here! It's our first house (and my first real home away from my parents). And it's where we had our babies! I know, I am crazy! But I really love our neighbors and our ward and even this house that I hated in the beginning! So if by some miracle we don't move far away, we will be sticking around! Somewhere very close by!

...Right about now I am seriously starting to wonder what happened to the girl who couldn't settle down and wanted to see the world! lol! Oh ya, she got seduced by some tall, skinny, funny kid who could dance and wanted to save the world!

Cowboy in Their Blood

While I was spending my Saturday doing 'Super' crafts at the church, my boys (all 3 of them) where having a fun filled testosterone day at the pasture with Pops and the horse! Patrick hasn't been the same since we sold Smokey, Jackson loves all things animals but especially horses and Harrison hadn't been on a horse yet - so lets just say they ALL had a lot of fun!

Jackson did some hiking and playing (always at warp speed) and

Harrison did some walking (he is still not quite fast enough to keep up with brother) and laughing...

And some licking of the fence, he thought it was pretty funny and so did dad!

Thank you Patrick, not only for watching them all day but for waring them completely out while having so much fun and remembering to take the camera with you! And for washing the car and taking me out on a date after your long day! You are AMAZING and I love you!
